Golf is saturated at this point with many in it just to make a buck. As the game grows we are seeing more and more fitters and builders popping up as they see their opportunity to take advantage of it. Unfortunately I see many of these companies that push themselves as industry leaders continue to make the same mistakes. They charge a premium up front for the fitting and the product to make their margins then cut it on the back end with budget assembly. But i’ll go ahead and ask the obvious question here. What good is a perfect fitting if the clubs aren’t built to the same standards? The truth is it's incredibly easy to cancel out all that hard work and knowledge with a low tier build defeating the entire purpose of all of it. Now you may be wondering why? Why would these companies spend all this money on these incredible facilities, fitting equipment and staff just to half ass the builds at the end of it all? Well obviously I can only assume here but from my experience it’s simply because they just look at it like a business with the sole priority being secured as soon as that order was placed. They’ve got your money and the job is done. The truth is a lot of them don’t expect the client to know any better once they get the clubs so they simply get away with the poor tolerances or sometimes even a complete disregard for the build sheet specs. Look I don’t like having to say this and I truly wouldn’t be if I hadn’t seen what i’ve seen. People spending thousands and thousands of dollars putting all their trust in someone just to find out weeks, months, even years later that all that money was spent and they didn’t really even get what they paid for…

So let’s get back to the original question. What makes me different? With over 15 years in the industry doing everything from teaching at private clubs, fitting for major OEMs, and building in some of the most high volume shops in Southern California, I know what it takes. I know what really matters most to make sure your clubs are not only the highest performing clubs you’ve ever owned but visually flawless at the same time.
